An Early Intensive Therapy Program
Our Early Intensive Intervention program offers learners with autism, speech delays, and language delays a well-rounded curriculum that targets all areas of development. We draw on our expertise from the areas of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA Therapy), Speech-Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy to ensure that each child receives a specialised intensive intervention tailored to their specific needs.
We understand your child’s need for a well-balanced program they enjoy, while ensuring necessary skills are taught by competent and qualified staff. Our Early Intensive Intervention program provides all this and more. It runs 5 mornings a week, Monday through Friday. The morning is divided into short, focused 20 minute sessions, each one targeting specific objectives across the range of targeted skills. Early morning drop off and full day programs are available.
Individual and Small Group Instruction
We focus on teaching functional skills that will generalise to new environments. Our program prepares your child for integration into school and the community at large. As such, skills are taught using a combination of both individual and small group instruction. Individual instruction (1:1) focuses on teaching verbal communication, prerequisites for introductory language skills, and advanced conversational skills. Small group instruction (2:1) focuses on pre-academic, play, social communication, and motor/self-help skills.
Balanced Programming Delivered by Experienced Therapists
Each aspect of your child’s program is developed and overseen by certified professionals including a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst® (BCBA®), Speech-Language Pathologist, and Occupational Therapist. Programs are then delivered to your child by our team of experienced therapists. Each member of our team has extensive experience and expertise in delivering evidence-based treatments for autism, speech delays, and language delays.
Maximising Learning and Motivation through Focused Sessions
We strive to maximise learning and motivation to ensure that your child gets the most out of our program. Short, focused, 20 minute sessions, targeting specific areas of development help keep your child interested and motivated, promoting learning and skill acquisition.
On a daily basis, your child receives 2 blocks of ABA Therapy focusing on cognitive and language skills. Your child equally receives 2 blocks focusing on functional communication skills and requesting. In addition, one block each of the following is provided daily: play skills, motor and self-help skills, school readiness and pre-academic skills, and speech and language skills.
